Submitting your sitemap to Google helps ensure that your job board's pages are indexed properly, making them easier to find in search results.

Step 1: Get Your Sitemap URL from Job Boardly

  1. Go to Job Boardly

  2. Navigate to Settings > Design

  3. Scroll down to the SEO section

  4. Copy the sitemap URL displayed (it should look like this):
    yourjobboard.com/sitemap.xml

Step 2: Submit Your Sitemap to Google Search Console

  1. Sign in to Google Search Console
    Go to Google Search Console and log in with your Google account.

  2. Select Your Property
    If you haven’t added your job board yet, click "Add Property" and follow the steps to verify ownership.

  3. Go to the Sitemaps Section
    In the left-hand menu, click on "Sitemaps."

  4. Enter Your Sitemap URL
    Paste the URL you copied from Job Boardly into the "Add a new sitemap" field and click "Submit."

  5. Check the Submission Status
    Google will process your sitemap. You can check for errors or indexing issues under the "Sitemaps" section.
