Most job posts (with the exception of remote) have a location.
People can filter jobs on your job board by location. By default, the location filter has every active job's location. This can be overwhelming depending on the type of job board your run or the number of jobs on your job board.
To minimize the potential chaos, you can set the filter dropdown to show only: cities, regions, or countries.
To change this setting:
Go to the Job settings page
Choose the Default location filter option you want to use
Click Save changes
Example: City
If I choose City, the location filter will look something like this:
New York, NY, US
San Francisco, CA, US
Toronto, ON, CA
London, ENG, UK
Example: Region
If I choose Region, the location filter will look something like this:
New York, US
California, US
Ontario, CA
England, UK
Example: Region
If I choose Region, the location filter will look something like this:
New York, US
California, US
Ontario, CA
England, UK
Example: Country
If I choose Country, the location filter will look something like this:
United States
Canada
United Kingdom
